Andrea Flemming, ThatFitAgvocate, Coming to Farmfest!
Farmfest 2026 will welcome farmer, rancher, and social media creator Andrea Flemming, That Fit Agvocate, to the show on Tuesday, August 4 and Thursday, August 6.
A fifth-generation farmer from southwest Minnesota, Andrea farms alongside her husband and family on an operation that spans more than 100 years. Together they grow corn, soybeans, and a little alfalfa, and manage a commercial cow/calf herd and feedlot, plus a fainting goat herd that keeps things interesting. She's also a small business owner and a Certified Personal Trainer who builds functional fitness plans for people in agriculture looking to increase the strength, endurance, and mobility that farm and ranch life demands.
Andrea has been sharing online since 2018, growing a following of tens of thousands across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook as @thatfitagvocate. What began as a creative outlet and a way to advocate for agriculture has grown into a mission to bridge the gap between farmers and a public that is increasingly generations removed from the farm. Rather than leaning on facts and figures to make her case, she prefers to simply show people what daily life in agriculture really looks like the honest, day-in-the-life glimpses that let the work speak for itself.
Women in Ag Event
In her keynote, Andrea will share her story from failing to get into vet school to finding herself back on her family's farm and navigating life as an entrepreneur. Andrea will get real, raw and vulnerable touching on mental health, questioning yourself, challenges we face as women in agriculture and how to pivot in life even when it feels like every road has been a dead end. This keynote will promote vulnerability & spark conversations for women in agriculture to speak up for themselves, find joy in their roles and make a positive impact on the next generation.
Following the keynote address, the top five Woman Farmer of the Year finalists will be recognized, and one will be announced as the Woman Farmer of the Year!
