There is a serious issue facing not only Farmfest, but also the event industry as a whole. Email, text, and phone communication with the intent of selling a list of exhibitors or attendees to our show and phone calls with the intent to book hotel rooms for our show continue to be sent and/or made to our current and past exhibitors. These messages can be frequent and persistent, and they are also a scam.
Some of the emails contain our logo so please be sure to check the source of any email that looks like it came from us and, if in doubt, please email or call your contact person directly.
Please know that IDEAg Group is not associated with these solicitations. We do not resell out exhibitor or attendees contact information, nor do we contact our exhibitors to sell or book hotel rooms. This scam issue has resulted in a Federal Trade Commission ruling on government and business impersonation and provides a way to identify and report fraudulent communications. If you encounter any of these scams, we ask you to note and report the email address or phone number to the FTC.
