Farm Bureau Financial Services Returns to Farmfest for its 12th Year
Farm Bureau Financial Services celebrates its 12th year at Minnesota Farmfest and as the Official Insurance Company Sponsor for a 9th year. Attendees can look forward to an exciting three days at the Farm Bureau Hub (Tent #7) featuring entertaining speakers, educational sessions on succession planning and crop insurance, daily live prize drawings and much more.
New this year, Farm Bureau Financial Services will be located on the north end of the grounds, in conjunction with the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation and the Minnesota Foundation for Agriculture, next to the popular Pork Chop stand, at The Farm Bureau Hub.
Farmfest kicks off on Tuesday, August 7, with a 10:45 a.m. Crop Talk hosted by Farm Bureau Regional Crop Consultants, who will discuss livestock and crop coverage as harvest season approaches. Attendees are encouraged to stay for an entertaining and inspirational program featuring agricultural advocates and Kansas natives, The Peterson Brothers, performing at 11:00 a.m. and again at 1:00 p.m. The day concludes with a live drawing for a $500 grocery giveaway at 2:00 p.m.
Wednesday, August 8, begins with a pancake breakfast hosted by the Minnesota Farm Bureau Federation from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. At 2:00 p.m., attendees can return to the Farm Bureau Hub for an insightful Changing Hands seminar on legacy planning, followed by another $500 grocery giveaway drawing.
The final day, Thursday, August 9, highlights the Women in Ag Event and Farmfest Woman Famer of the Year Award presentation at 10:30 a.m. in the Wick Buildings Farmfest Center. Attendees are invited to continue the conversation with Behind the Scenes: A Candid Q&A with the Woman Farmer of the Year Finalists, immediately following at the Farm Bureau Hub. The event wraps up with the third and final $500 grocery giveaway drawing at 2:00 p.m.
